Certanexa uses AI to assist finance teams — not to replace professional judgment. This page explains our principles for how AI is applied, what it should and should not be used for, and how we approach accuracy and transparency.

Core principle: AI in Certanexa exists to explain, assist, and summarize — not to replace the professional review that financial data requires. Every AI output is a starting point for human review, not a final answer.
Certanexa uses AI to help finance teams understand exceptions, explain unmatched transactions, and generate review notes. AI outputs are inputs to professional review — not final decisions.
All reconciliation results, exception flags, and AI-generated notes should be reviewed and validated by a qualified finance professional before acting on them. Certanexa does not replace accounting, auditing, or professional financial judgment.
When PowerBot generates an insight, explanation, or suggestion, it is designed to be legible — explaining what pattern was observed and why it may be relevant, not just issuing a verdict.
We surface confidence levels, reasoning signals, and relevant transaction context so that the finance professional reviewing the output can evaluate it appropriately. Unexplained outputs that cannot be reviewed are not useful in a finance context.
AI investigation in Certanexa is scoped to financial reconciliation workflows: explaining exceptions, summarizing patterns, suggesting rules, and drafting review notes. We do not use AI to make payments, commit entries, or take irreversible actions.
AI features are available where they add value to exception investigation and audit preparation. They are not applied invisibly across the platform without user awareness.
When a user sends a query to PowerBot, prompts are constructed to include the minimum context needed — typically column structures, exception counts, and anonymized references.
Raw transaction amounts, vendor names, and account details are not included in AI prompts by default. Only information the user explicitly provides in the chat is included beyond these defaults.
AI systems can produce incorrect outputs. In financial workflows, this is especially important to acknowledge. PowerBot is designed to assist with pattern recognition and explanation — not to serve as the authoritative source on any financial question.
Certanexa does not claim guaranteed accuracy for AI-generated insights. Finance teams should treat AI outputs as one input in a professional review process, not as a replacement for it.
We actively work to improve the quality and safety of AI outputs in Certanexa. We review patterns in AI usage to identify areas where outputs may be misleading or unclear.
If you encounter an AI output that appears incorrect, misleading, or inappropriate for a finance context, we encourage you to report it via the feedback mechanism in the product or by contacting us directly.
